I see my graduation work as an exhibition in which all the pieces create a coherent whole, yet can also be viewed in separation. Creations made of ceramic, wood and textiles, next to drawings on paper, and stencil prints on fabrics. At first sight, it seems like a colourful and loving world, but nothing is what it seems. My work contains symbols that refer to the autobiographical stories about my experience as a woman in society. My graduation work is meant to confront the stereotypical images and taboos about women in society. But above all, I want to celebrate female strength.
