Exploring New ground: a journey through ideas

  • 11 februari 2025
Exploring New Ground is an exhibition centred around experiment and a look into the future. Since Friday, nine HKU alumni share their personal stories about autonomy and wellbeing with the public in this street expo. They present us with new worlds that make us forget our everyday reality for a moment. The work can be seen on the facades of the buildings in and around the area of Utrecht Central Station.

The nine artists are stirring up discussion in all sorts of ways – a dialogue with yourself, with others, or with your social environment. The expo invites you to reflect on how we can find self-love and stability in a world that is changing with lightning speed and that is dominated by a fleeting temporariness.

These artists are also looking ahead: to a future in which technology, especially AI, will play an exciting and influential role. These perspectives make Exploring New Ground not just an exhibition, but a journey through ideas, emotions and opportunities.

On display at the station exit of Moreelsepark:
