During Dutch Design Week there is a lot of attention for work and development of young talent. For example, fresh HKU alumni are also showing their work in Eindhoven. The emphasis is on experimentation, innovation and crossovers.
The HKU graduates exhibit their work in 'Class of '24'. This is a group exhibition in the Klokgebouw in which both Dutch and international academies present graduation projects from different disciplines. The theme of the HKU exhibition is Cabinet of Artistic Research: a composite collection showing the diversity, depth and interdisciplinary nature of artistic research.
Class of '24 consists of: Loes ten Den (Design for Change and Innovation), Pim van Hemert (Graphic Design), Saskia Soetendaal (Graphic Design), Thomas Jonker (Photography), Iris Zegwaard (Fashion Design), Joep Janssen (Fashion Design), Nikki Steenbergen (Fashion Design), Vivian Zandhuis (Fashion Design).
Besides the Class of '24, you can find work by other former HKU students in several other places during Dutch Design Week. Who they are, you can check here. Over 2600 designers present their own work and concepts during Dutch Design Week. All design disciplines are represented, both in art and applied form.
