Keti Koti at HKU Theatre

During the third celebration of Keti Koti at HKU Theatre, we look at the role that the colonial history can play in creative processes. Theatre producer Tania Christina introduces us to the initiative ‘Theatre for Keti Koti’ (TVKK). Christy-Ann Karijodirono, alumnus of Theatre in Education presents her creative process in Theatre for Keti Koti. Bright Richards, artistic leader of New Dutch Connections performs a fragment from his new theatre play, and Rien Sprenger takes us to the Caribbean island of Sint-Maarten to show how its colonial history is remembered during Emancipation Day.
