Pop music - Write Play Produce

Getting from a first idea to a complete catchy pop song in one week. How do you write a good song with a captivating melody, lyrics that stick with people and a fitting harmony? And after writing, how to produce the song up to the point that it’s ready for release? How to publish it and reach an audience? And what effect does your stage presentation and performance have on the eventual musical experience?

Students of Jazz & Pop went through this whole process in an intensive project week, ending up with a complete catchy pop song. On Friday 3 November they present the songs they created this week under the guidance of professionals from the music industry. Expect an evening full of brand-new music, with free entrance!
