Lift Off

Lift Off is an exhibition curated by Menno Vuister and produced by alumni of the Fine Art bachelor. It shows the works of 22 selected alumni who graduated in the year 2020 and 2021, presented at four different locations in Utrecht.

Opening:

Friday 24 June, 3:30 pm in the 'Tuinzaal' of the Centraal Museum (entrance Nicolaasdwarsstraat 14). Followed by a tour to the other locations.

- AG, Minrebroederstraat 16: Emma van Amerongen, Atilla Buonsenso, Indigo Deijmann, Boukje Kemper, Krijn Kroes, Kyra Nijskens, Monika Nowak, Marloes Roeper.

- IMPAKT, Lange Nieuwstraat 4: Megan Auður, Maya Berkhof, Hannah Meijer, Monika Nowak, Bas Oussoren, Elise van Staveren.

- Het Refectiehuis, Nieuwegracht 205: Eugenie Boon, Antonino de Caro, Travis Geertruida, Luke McCowan, Jochem Mestriner, Monika Nowak.

Monika Nowak has developed a new performative work that is on display at each location.

Due to corona, many alumni who graduated in the past two years have experienced difficulties in setting their first steps into the professional field. The municipality of Utrecht has made a budget available to support the alumni of the 2020 and 2021 class. Lift Off is realized thanks to the financial contribution of the municipality of Utrecht.
