Commemoration of Martyn van den Hoek

Dutch pianist, pedagogue and composer Martyn van den Hoek died Aug. 24, 2022. He was a musician in the broadest sense of the word; he worked as a pianist, accompanist, composer, pedagogue, writer and arranger. As a teacher, he taught at HKU Utrechts Conservatorium where, thanks in part to his efforts, a chamber music department became possible.
