ART. 1 - AG

ART. 1 explores how Article 1 of the Dutch constitution translates and unfolds in both personal and political urgencies when considering equality and discrimination.

Together, the participating artists try to navigate their positions through provocations, questions and soothings, using methods of artistic research. They explore personal narratives, fluidities and living in The Netherlands, negotiating Dutch and their own native languages while confronting Article 1.

The participating artists who exhibit their work during ART. 1 are: Ganesh Nepal, Jinxiao Zhou, Kaylie Kist, Manju Sharma, Manuela Viezzer, in collaboration with Marc Hanna and Sarah Prins, students from Rechtsfaculteit van de Universiteit Utrecht.
