Korngold Lunchconcert
Korngold's Suite, an exquisite rarity for two violins, cello, and piano left hand, unveils the genius of a neglected composer. Born a prodigy in Vienna, his music drew acclaim from Mahler, Strauss, and Puccini. Commissioned by Wittgenstein, a wealthy pianist who lost one of his arms during WWI, this Suite embodies Korngold's rich melodic style, blending classical and modern elements seamlessly.

This marvellous piece will be performed by Femke Veldkamp(violin), Alethea Witmer (violin), Marta Jiménez (cello), and Hanna Zomerplaag (left hand piano).
