Judith Jiskoot trio:
Judith Jiskoot (guitar), Sebastian de Gilde (double bass), Peter van Kaam (drums)

Judith Jiskoot trio is a modern jazz ensemble hailing from Utrecht. Through the use of intricate and contemplative guitar melodies and the combination of pop-inspired structures with a jazz sound, the compositions evoke a sense of recognition in jazz, indie and folk aficionados. Together with Sebastian de Gilde on double bass and Peter van Kaam on drums, the music transcends from detailed and clearly woven pieces into playful songs with breath and heartbeat. The trio paints a reflection of the state of consciousness that might be experienced when you are awake late at night, alone with your thoughts.

Ida Alanen- piano

The Finnish duo Kirsi Harju & Ida Alanen enchants audiences with their unique blend of trumpet, voice, and piano, weaving together Nordic jazz, folk, ambient, and improvised music. Their Finnish roots resonate in their music, which is both captivating and intimate. Building on years of collaboration, including their time with KAMA Kollektiv, they’re now exploring new musical horizons and developing their sound as a duo. In 2024, they performed a sold-out concert at the Grachtenfestival in collaboration with ZOJazz Stage.

Trumpeter, vocalist, and composer Kirsi Harju combines lyrical trumpet melodies with heartfelt storytelling. She has spent the last decade living in Amsterdam and playing, writing and releasing music for example with her group KAMA Kollektiv. Ida Alanen, a pianist-composer with a sensitivity to melody and simplistic beauty, draws influence from visual arts, minimalism, and folk traditions. Together, they create an immersive, harmonic soundscape that highlights the beauty of their distinct yet complementary voices.
