Connect4 Festival

Conservatory bands from 4 departments

Here are a few biographies from the bands:

Carme
Carme is a collaboration between Lucas and Doris, a producer and a singer, who create music together. With Dutch poetic lyrics and EDM influences, they craft a sound that blends various styles, ranging from subtle melodies to powerful beats.

Ben Stryder
Ben Stryder and his band perform an intimate and explosive mix of catchy songs influenced by the classic rock and singer songwriter genres. The songs cover topics about the mysterious ways time plays tricks on us, the addictive digital landscape we live in, as well as adventures around the world. Eldert Mohr on lead guitar, Ivan Dekker on bass, and Djoszuwa Zwier on drums

Euphonious Ensemble
Deep passion, delicate intimacy and great joy is what to expect when listening to the Euphonious Ensemble. With Sarah Verhulst and Sonia Mossessian on violin, Marike Knegtering on viola, Laura Gil Ferrer on cello and Sem Hoos on piano, the group is filled with unique musicians who all bring their own nuance to the music.
The group formed in 2023 and premiered in December that year, performing Dvořák's Piano Quintet in A Op. 81. It was a great success, and when in 2024 Marike Knegtering and Laura Gil Ferrer joined the ensemble, they were eager to explore their journey as an ensemble which is still quite young.
Their repertoire lies mostly in Romantic music, when chamber music gained heavily in popularity. However, the ensemble is very enthusiastic to explore new repertoire.

Pop band
Pop band is a fresh band that plays a combination of originals and covers with a twist. It’s all poppy vibes with influences from funk to rock to jazz. They are ready to make noise you can dance to, so you better come and join the party!
